Shopify and most other online stores. The system fetches the public product page and pulls the photos, price and details from it. Nothing is installed into your store and no permissions are granted.

No, they are not a supported input. Amazon sellers upload their listing photos instead, which works just as well; there is a page for that path.

Yes, directly in the app, and it is the normal route for anyone without a supported store page. Good enough to see the product clearly is the bar. What helps more than image quality is variety: one shot that establishes scale, one detail frame, one of the product in use. PNG, JPG, HEIC, TIFF and WebP all upload.

The page is source material, so a page that says little gives the script little. If the description is a single line, either improve the page first or upload photos and work from those.

At three levels. Leave everything blank and the system drafts it all. Write one line in the Creator's Note ("mention the winter sale", "hands only, no face", "ASMR") and it reaches the render word for word, outranking the drafted plan. Or open the video direction itself (hook, content focus, format, aesthetic, execution guidelines, restrictions) and edit any line, re-roll it with "Try another angle", or clear it entirely.

Either. Format sits on Best-fit by default, where one treatment is picked from a pool of eighteen: POV, talking head, hands-on demo, problem/solution, transformation, tutorial, ASMR, montage and the rest. You can name the format yourself instead, and asking for another angle never re-offers the one you just turned down.

Yes, and it is the part worth knowing about: the whole plan is on screen before a credit is spent. You read the direction, change what you want, and only then generate. Nothing renders off-screen and then presents you with a bill.

A vertical 9:16 MP4 you can download. The default is a 20-second 480P video; 720P and 1080P are also available and cost proportionally more credits. The welcome grant tops out at 720P, and any purchase — a pack or the membership — unlocks 1080P. The plans page has the current figures.

Adjust the direction or the Creator's Note and generate again; the product keeps its saved brand and description, so you are not re-entering anything. Worth saying plainly: a regenerate is a new generation and costs credits like any other, so the cheaper move is to read the drafted plan before the first one.

Yes. You can use the videos you create in your own marketing and commercial campaigns, and paid social is what most of them are made for. Each platform still applies its own advertising policies to any creative you upload, so review a clip against the rules of the placement before you put budget behind it.

You are, as with any creative you publish. The clip is built from your product page and your assets, and you download and publish it yourself, so watch it end to end before it runs. That matters most in regulated categories like supplements, beauty and finance.

They are used to create your videos. How your data is handled is governed by the privacy policy, and what you agree to in using the product is in the terms. Both live with the app, where your account and billing are. We would rather point you at the documents than paraphrase them here.

Credits are the unit a video costs, and how many one uses depends on the resolution and length you export. The welcome grant is one-time and does not renew. When it is gone, buy a one-time credit pack — Starter or Launch — or join the Agency membership for a monthly allowance. Current figures are on the plans page.

A brand is the identity a video is generated against: the assets and look that keep clips consistent with each other. A free account keeps one brand, any pack purchase raises that to three, and the Agency membership to ten — the difference between running one store and running several clients.

Yes. The app runs an MCP server at app.instantclips.ai/mcp, so Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, the Claude app, ChatGPT or any other MCP client can run the same workflow.
