Why do it in ChatGPT

Use the photos on your laptop

Make videos from the product photos already on your laptop. Attach them to your message the way you would send any picture, and ChatGPT passes them to InstantClips. You do not need a store page or a link.

The price comes with the script

Each video starts as a script you can read, scene by scene. ChatGPT shows the credit cost beside it, and nothing is charged until you say go.

No waiting in the chat

A video is usually ready 5 to 15 minutes after you approve the script. InstantClips emails you when it is ready, and ChatGPT can fetch the link whenever you come back to the conversation.

Adding InstantClips to ChatGPT

Add InstantClips to ChatGPT, then sign in to your InstantClips account when ChatGPT asks you to. The button at the top of this page takes you to the steps.

Once it is connected, ChatGPT works inside your InstantClips account, with your brands, your products and your credits. To disconnect it later, go to Authorized apps in your InstantClips settings.

ChatGPT and InstantClips: common questions

Is InstantClips made by OpenAI?

No. InstantClips is made by Instant Studio, Inc., and ChatGPT is made by OpenAI. The plugin is how the two work together: you ask ChatGPT for a product video, and InstantClips makes it in your InstantClips account.

Can ChatGPT make videos without the plugin?

Not any more. OpenAI closed Sora, its video app, in April 2026 (OpenAI's notice). ChatGPT can still write a script or an idea for a video, but it does not make the video itself. With the InstantClips plugin it can: a short video ad for your product, made from your own photos or product page, in your brand's voice.

Which ChatGPT plans can use plugins?

OpenAI decides which plans can add plugins, and that can change. Check your ChatGPT settings to see what your plan includes.
