Connecting Claude
In the Claude app, add InstantClips as a connector: paste one address and sign in when Claude asks. In Claude Code, the same address goes in with one command, and the sign-in happens the first time it calls.
Either way Claude is working in your own InstantClips account: the same brands, products, credits and limits as the web app. Every assistant you approve is listed under Authorized apps in your settings, where you can disconnect it.
Claude and InstantClips: common questions
Is InstantClips made by Anthropic?
No. InstantClips is made by Instant Studio, Inc. Claude is Anthropic's assistant. The two connect over MCP, the standard that lets an assistant use another service, and the connection is between your Claude and your InstantClips account.
Can Claude make videos on its own?
Claude Motion makes animated explainers from text, charts and images. It is in beta on the Team and Enterprise plans (Anthropic's guide). With InstantClips connected, Claude can also make video ads that show your product in use, with a voiceover.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
No. Claude’s free plan lets you add one custom connector, and InstantClips can be that connector (Anthropic's guide). If you already use a custom connector on the free plan, remove it or upgrade before you add InstantClips.
